These delicious carrot balls are a real nutritional bomb! The combination of sweet carrots, filling chickpeas and vegan-carrot:PROTEIN makes for a hearty, plant-based snack that is rich in protein and micronutrients. With proteins from peas, pumpkin, hemp and linseed as well as nutrient-rich carrot powder, highly concentrated organic cordyceps extract and barley grass extract, every bite becomes a health power boost. Rounded off with a pinch of salt and breadcrumbs for the crunchy texture - perfect as a side dish, main course or finger food! 🌱

Effect on the constitutional types in combination:

Lung (Wind type):

The carrot balls soothe and strengthen Lung types through the grounding effect of the chickpeas and carrots as well as the nutrient-rich support of the protein. The Cordyceps extract helps to balance internal weakness and dryness.

Tipa (Fire-type):

The cooling components such as hemp protein and barley grass extract balance the inner fire. The dish remains harmonious thanks to the gentle sweetness of the carrots and the neutral base of the chickpeas.

Beken (Earth-Water type):

The carrot balls are metabolism-stimulating and light enough to compensate for sluggishness. The combination of vegetable protein, carrots and activating extracts such as Cordyceps makes them ideal for this type.

Ingredients

  • 300g carrots
  • 250g chickpeas
  • 5 tbsp organic vegan-carrot:PROTEIN
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some breadcrumbs for frying

Here's how it's done:

  1. Steam carrots
  2. Puree chickpeas and carrots, mix with vegan-carrot:PROTEIN and salt to form a homogeneous mass.
  3. Form your meatballs, coat them in breadcrumbs and fry them in a lightly greased pan (or in the oven / hot air fryer at approx. 180°C / 20 min)
